#4 Now that you have prayed and meditated on the verse, lets cross reference. The people who study the Bible have made lists of all the verses that talk about the same thing which makes it very easy on us! Can you imagine having to read the whole Bible and write down every verse that talks about anger? Hopefully one day you will search out the Word page by page...but we are focusing on using the helps other people have offered us. Back to cross referencing. Look at the bottom or middle column of your Bible. It should have little numbers and scripture references listed. On the page where I find 1 Peter 3:8-13, there are cross references in the middle of the page. I look for the little 8 and find six scripture references. The first one is Romans 12:16. Yours might be a little different depending on who did the studying of your particular translation of the Bible. Choose one of our verses and look up three cross references. Please comment on which verses you looked up and what they mean to you.

Are these directions easy to follow?

Sorry it took me so long to get back. Please forgive me.

I think that 1peter was abuot loving other people no matter how rude they are. I also think that these verses are about- selfcontrol. By! Raena
